Basic Polyester Coating
Ferro Bulloni Basic Polyester Coating treatment guarantees a product that is highly resistant and durable. The process begins with a vigorous sandblasting that mechanically removes impurities from the substrate, creating the necessary conditions for perfect binding of the thermosetting resins. Afterwards, any surface residue of oil, grease and dust is chemically removed through degreasing. The product is then dried in a furnace in preparation for the subsequent plastic coating phase with electrostatic powder based on pure polyester resins. Finally, the polyester layer is bound to the substrate through polymerisation.
Using an innovative electrostatic process we succeed in depositing the same amount of polyester that normally deposits on the outside of the profile even in the corners of the posts. This prevents rust from attacking the less protected parts, ensuring the same longevity at each point on the surface of the post.
