The Ferro Bulloni group
specialises in designing and
manufacturing metal fencing establishing itself among the leaders in the
European market. Our core business consists of electro-welded panels, mesh
rolls, "T" and "Ø" posts, residential and industrial gates,
temporary fencing for construction sites and security fences. Our products that we manufacture are made with high quality raw materials.
With two manufacturing plants in Italy
and France, Ferro Bulloni occupies a
total surface area of approximately 200,000 m², of which over 30,000 m² are
covered, with around 125 employees.
The main commercial outlets for
our products are hardware wholesalers, retailers of building materials and
large-scale retail trade. However, other distribution channels also play an
important role such as professional installers, retailers of agricultural
materials and motorway fencing, which Ferro Bulloni is able to satisfy by
providing a quality product that is synonymous of added value.
The following objectives have
always been a part of the Ferro Bulloni company policy: total customer
satisfaction, technological competitiveness, high quality, a harmonious company
atmosphere, caring for the environment and defending safety.
HISTORY
The Ferro Bulloni history traces its roots back to the late nineteenth century. An established business in that period, the Fabbriche di Ferramenta dei Fratelli Boghi (Boghi Brothers’ Hardware Factory) was passed down from generation to generation, adapting production to the new market demands over the decades.
In 1972 in Rogeno, nearby Lecco (Italy), the evolution of the Società Ferro Bulloni S.p.A. (Brescia - Crema - Turin - Cantù) company led to the development of a fencing department under the name of Siderurgica Ferro Bulloni S.p.A., which, in the following years, achieved world leadership in the sector of “T” and “Ø” section posts for fencing.
A new production site was built in France in 1994, at Chimilin near Lyon, under the name Ferro Bulloni France S.A., which allowed for better geographical integration to develop the Central and Northern European markets.
In the following decades, production was integrated by manufacturing products that today Ferro Bulloni offers through a complete and competitive range on the market.
In 2018 the Rogeno plant (Lecco) acquired the name of Ferro Bulloni Italia S.p.A.
Over the years, Ferro Bulloni has continued to pursue an intense internationalisation process in step with the increasing rate of globalisation and integration of worldwide markets. It remains, however, faithful to the values of its “
Made in Italy” products, remaining one of the few companies in the field to have maintained manufacturing units only in Europe, ensuring outstanding levels of quality.
POLICY AND MISSION
The company policy has always been to invest in the professional expertise of its human resources, in continuous technological improvement, in reducing environmental impact and in the safety and health of its workers. The quality of its products as well as services, safeguarding the environment and risk reduction to ensure employee safety in manufacturing sites have always been pursued by the management as top priority objectives. In order to guarantee these high level of standards, since many years Ferro Bulloni has decided to adopt the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Certification, the OHSAS 18001: 2007 Safety Certification and the UNI EN ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental Certification several years ago.
